Lunchtime music

If only I worked in Midtown, rather than on the UES, I would have no excuse not to go to some at least of the enticing series (pl.) of lunchtime concerts at the Church of the Transfiguration and St. Bartholomew’s. This Tuesday, Sept. 23, Amy Bartram sings music associated with Henry VIII, with Ekko Jennings on lute, at the Little Church; Amy is a wonderfully communicative singer and I am sure this will be a lovely little program. And Dan Swenberg plays baroque lute in German repertory Wednesday at St. Bart’s. More at Polyphony.com (also see the sidebar).
