What I saw on the streets of Kensington, Brooklyn, on the day before Halloween

Giant inflatable pumpkin chariot of death.

Make that giant inflatable pumpkin chariot of death drawn by inflatable black horse with a ghost inflating out of the pumpkin and deflating back in. And a giant inflatable black cat on the porch roof.

In other news, does anyone else frequently want to strangle Jonathan Schwartz, the radio guy?

I saw the most horrible Halloween display yesterday outside a shop – a fake electric chair with a dummy that jerked and nodded its head in a grotesque and lifelike way. I think the inflatable pumpkin chariot of death would have been far preferable.

So much that I can’t even listen to his show anymore.

Re: Jonathan Schwartz, I can’t listen to him because I can’t stand the way he speaks, with all those unbearable pauses. Blech. 😛

Oh, can we make a club? My first ever club, I hate clubs. Almost as much as I can’t listen to Mr Schwartz.
