The Streetsingers will perform a mix of motets (not motels, that’s different) and traditional Xmas music at the Barclay Hotel on 48th St. between Park & Lexington, tonight, Thursday December 2, at 5:30. I’m toting my tabor all over town so it had better go well.
Our delicious friends Asteria perform at the Brooklyn Public Library’s Central Library at Grand Army Plaza on Sunday, Dec. 5, at 4:00. Music from the court of Charles the Rash of Burgundy for lute & voices. Free! Celebrating Early Music America’s 25th anniversary.
Of course RSS are also performing on Sunday so I can’t go to hear Asteria, but that’s how it is.
